The Farm was born round the house built, as a hunting lodge, by
the Count Carlo de Vecchi in 1862. Donated to the Church, it became
the Bishop of Montalcino 's summer residence.
In 1982 the present owners came into possession of it, and during
the following years they have given life to a little farm, above
all managed by the women of the family, devoted to research of the
quality of product.
They planted the first hectare in 1989.
